Naturopathic & Functional Ways of Life to Manage Diabetes

Hello.

Let me start by saying that the words cleanse and detox have been highly misrepresented, and I really do not want to do the same to you.

  1. All your organs, when given a good environment, know how to cleanse themselves.

  2. By a good environment, I mean when the immune system is supported by your lifestyle to keep doing its work of helping you fight anything foreign and keep going.

That having been said, I also desire to remind us all that what you get at RNB are foods and not medication. They are intended to help you get healthy and stay healthy. They also do not work in isolation. There must be intentional lifestyle change.

Having said that, for a diabetic person who desires to improve their health with our foods and products, we have several options:

  1. Glycomyx Tea — to help support balanced insulin levels. It is also safe to take alongside medication.

  2. Probiotics — we have a variety of them. One of the effects associated with diabetes and the use of some diabetes medications, just like many other medications, is that they can affect the balance of gut bacteria. This may contribute to digestive discomfort and other issues.

Probiotics can help support a healthy gut microbiome. We also have Happy Vagina Oil for ladies to support intimate care alongside probiotics, especially where recurring yeast infections are a concern.

  1. Mama’s Immune Booster, Indigenous Leaves Tea, Black Seeds Oil, and Propolis Suspension to support immunity. That I shall not need to expound on.

A myth I shall, however, speak about is that because you are diabetic, you should not take propolis suspension. Just do not take it on an empty stomach.

  1. Zinc is another mineral important to all of us. We have guava leaves tea, pumpkin seeds powder, and avocado seeds powder to help support your nutritional needs.

Add Prunus africana powder, and you shall be happier for longer. Your skin will not keep breaking because of low zinc.

  1. Magnesium may also be affected in people living with diabetes. At RNB, we have original cocoa powder, dark chocolate, and Epsom salt to help support your magnesium needs.

  2. The best detoxifiers that are free are: forgive, forgive and forgive some more.

Forgive yourself. Forgive others. And do not just forgive; also pray for the grace to forget after forgiving.

Rest, rest, rest.

Let go of what you cannot handle and be at peace with what is not working. Choose to stop wanting to control every situation or every human in your life. Let go and let loose.

As difficult as it can be for us humans, always say the Serenity Prayer as many times as you can.

Manage stress.

These are the primary foods — the best detoxifiers that even your doctor may not tell you.

  1. Eat a whole-food diet and lean towards proteins and vegetables. Keep highly inflammatory foods such as wheat, dairy, and processed sugars and salts to a minimum.

At RNB, we have sorted you with ugali whole meal, uji whole meal, gluten-free flour, healthier cooking oils, and anti-inflammatory tea to help you make better choices. Take time and come learn.

  1. If you are above 30 years, always give your bones the health they need. We have collagen powder, sea moss gel, and avocado seeds to support your nutritional needs.

  2. Exercise to sweat and keep the circulatory system moving. Include the spa experience to support the lymphatic system and help you care for your whole body system.

  3. Laugh out loud.

And if you get congested often, steam with pure essential oils or spray the RNB bedding spray on your bedding. You can also steam with eucalyptus crystals to support clear breathing.

I know I have said a lot, and it may feel like a lot, but with lifestyle diseases, one must make an intentional choice to make a 360-degree turnaround to get results.

Otherwise, we keep going back and forth, whether we are on medication or not.

Thank you for trusting RNB (www.rnb.co.ke) to walk with you. Should you have further questions, feel free to ask.
